Honing Machine
AMSpec has established a honing machine to achieve a specific surface roughness of tubes for our customers’ requirements.
Honing is a machining process to remove small amounts of material from the inside of a tube, resulting in a smoother surface finish and improved dimensional accuracy.
In addition to improving surface roughness, honing can also be used to improve other tube properties, such as roundness, straightness, and cylindricity. This can help to ensure that the tubes meet the precise requirements of their intended application.
